"Something Wild" is the thirteenth track and second single from Lindsey Stirling's third studio album, Brave Enough, featuring vocals from Andrew McMahon. The was used as the theme song in the 2016 Disney film Pete's Dragon and was used in end credits.
Composition[]
On the official booklet of Brave Enough, Stirling explained that every song represents a step "a step that has taken me from being a heartbroken lost girl, wishing for bravery, to a woman who is ready to answer the call of something wild.".
About Something Wild, Stirling stated:
"Comfort, and predictability may come to those who follow the safe route; however personal fulfillment and adventure is within the reach of those who trust their inner voice and follow it's call."

Stirling performed Something Wild for the first time on July 11, 2016 at The Dome at Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut. On August 23, Stirling and McMahon performed the song together at The Today Show.
Something Wild was part of the setlist of the Brave Enough Tour from 2016 to 2017.
